The Seed Money Facility Call of the Danube Region Programme is a tool for the kick-starting development of projects contributing to the objectives of the EUSDR.
The call is currently open and proposals can be submitted until 29 March 2024.
The Seed Money Facility provides funding for the first steps of a large scale strategic project. It enables you to receive funding for developing a detailed concept and project work plan, investigating funding possibilities and strengthening partnerships. The amount of co-funding ranges from EUR 50,000 to EUR 100,000 for each project. The maximum duration is of 12 months.
A dedicated PA9 info-session took place on 13 December 2023, providing guidance and information on the call, outlining the thematic areas (8 Actions of the EUSDR Action Plan) of Priority Area 9. More specifically, three potential fields for the development of strategic projects were presented in detail:
- Inclusion of marginalized groups in the labour market, with a specific focus on Roma;
- Excellence in VET for a green and inclusive Danube Region; (download slides)
- Measures supporting the reintegration of veterans.
The minutes of the PA9 SMF Info-Session are available here.
Please note that project proposals have to be in line with one of the eight Actions of the EUSDR Action Plan.
