PA9 pilot project “Empowering Young People – Connecting People”: Danube students present results – radio show now online

9. July 2013in News 0 Likes

In the framework of the PA9 pilot project “Empowering Young People – connecting Europe” (2013-2014), Danube schools and students have been jointly developing innovative training courses and creative educational programmes to promote transnational contacts between cultures, with an emphasis on active citizenship and commitment to sustainable development. An innovative guide for teachers was developed to apply throughout the whole Danube Region.

On 4 and 5 July 2013, a conference was held in Vienna to present the results of the school projects with the aim of a regional exchange of experience. In this context, a radio show was produced which presents these experiences to a larger public. Please feel free to listen to interviews, statements and activities during the conference days here.

More information on the project’s thematic clusters can be found here.
