The Danube Transnational Programme is a financing instrument of the European Territorial Cooperation (ETC). ETC is one of the goals of the European Union cohesion policy and provides a framework for the implementation of joint actions and policy exchanges between national, regional and local actors from different member states. The Danube Transnational Programme (DTP, cooperation programme) promotes economic, social and territorial cohesion in the Danube Region through policy integration in selected fields.
The cooperation programme covers the geographical scope of the EU Strategy for the Danube Region (EUSDR) and addresses five priority axes of which i.a. Priority Axis 1 “Innovative and socially responsible Danube Region” (Specific Objective 1.1 “Improve framework conditions” and 1.2 “Increase competences for business and social innovation”) as well as Priority Axis 4 “Well governed Danube Region” (Specific Objective 4.1 “Increase institutional capacities to tackle major societal challenges”) are of interest to PA9.
The first call was launched on 23rd September 2015 and it will be open until 3rd November 2015. Please find below documents and basic information regarding the 1st call for proposals.
