Workshop ‘Creating a more efficient labor market in the Danube region’
The workshop will be an opportunity for participants to discuss how to make labor market in Danube region more efficient. Discussion will focus around four topics: ways to improve the effectiveness of sector skills councils; the role of the labour market information system in improving labour market efficiency; the effectiveness of active labor market programmes, the role of apprenticeship system and effectiveness of immigration in meeting the current needs of the labour market.
The workshop will bring together actors from fourteen Danube Region countries and beyond in order to share best practices, to address common challenges of the future, to develop innovative projects and to create networks for policy development of efficient educational and labour market systems.
