The Austrian National Agency for Lifelong Learning organized the Contact Seminar: “The Danube Region Strategy – Take the chance to connect ideas and people around the Danube”.

Teachers and national school authorities of the Danube Region countries were invited to come to Vienna from 4th – 5th of October 2012 in order to initiate school partnership and regional partnership projects and to connect people and ideas in the Danube Region. The following Danube Region countries were invited to participate at the Lifelong Learning Programme: Germany, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Slovenia, Croatia, Hungary, Bulgaria and Romania.

The aim of this seminar was further to give participants firsthand information on the EU Strategy for the Danube Region and on funding and cooperation possibilities within the EU Programme for Lifelong Learning.
