New calls have been published under the Interreg Cross-Border-Cooperation programme HR-RS and the European Urban Initiative. In addition, the pre-announcement of the 2nd call of the Danube Region Programme was published.
In addition, a new funding guide on how to access EU funding for regional and local authorities, NGOs, businesses, professionals and citizens was published by the European Parliamentary Research Service (EPRS). The guide provides easily accessible information on EU funding sources, grouped by area of action, which overlap with the thematic areas of the EUSDR:

Second Call Pre-announcement Danube Region Programme
The Danube Region Programme will be launching its second call for proposals on 2nd October 2023. This one-step call for proposals will require applicants to prepare and submit the full application form online through the Joint Electronic Monitoring System – Jems. The submission deadline is 29th February 2024.
First Call Interreg HR-RS 2021-2027
The Interreg Croatia-Serbia programme aims to strengthen the social, economic and territorial development of the cross-border area through the implementation of joint projects and activities. The 1st Call targets all four Programme’s Priorities and five Specific objectives and supports standard projects and small-scale projects.
European Urban Initiative – Innovative Actions – 2nd Call
With an indicative budget of EUR 120 million ERDF, the second Call for Proposals of EUI – Innovative Actions is targeting innovative projects focusing on the three topics: Greening cities, Sustainable tourism and Harnessing talent in shrinking cities.
