The Steering Group of Priority Area 9 has decided on 25 February 2016 to grant a letter of recommendation for the following project:

“Development Tools for Cross-Border Labor Mobility”

The aim of the project is to enhance the efficiency of the cross-border labour mobility by encouraging workforce mobility between Bulgaria and Romania and thus promoting economic and social development, addressing skills shortages and labour market bottlenecks and increasing quality and sustainable employment. The project implementation will result i.a. in a modern training infrastructure enabling development of skills and knowledge corresponding to the labour market neetds, an online language training platform with courses in Romanian and Bulgarian etc. The project is led by Human Resources Development Agency in Ruse, Bulgaria and is scheduled for January 2017 till January 2019.
